The Pastoral Care Program

In January 2019, Kaleo College launched a new program called the Pastoral Care Program (PCP), an initiative dedicated at connecting pastors to resources and training to better their ministries. The Program operates under the simple model of “No Soldier Left Behind”, which is basically ensuring that Pastors can strengthen each other.
The PCP program has been an opportunity to offer short training to Pastors on various issues affecting their ministries. Among these have been a training on Church Administration facilitated by Bishop Shadrack Ochuodho, and an upcoming leadership training facilitated by Dr. Chris Barasa.
Additionally, Pastors and other church leaders have held luncheons at Kaleo College, just as an opportunity to discuss and share about ministry. These interactive sessions bring together persons with established ministries and those with new or growing ministries, which in turn creates avenues for mentorship. The Program has further provided opportunities for retreat and prayer ventures.
Through PCP we hope to connect pastors and other church leaders a platform on which to critically address any challenges affecting them, learn from each other, and learn from experts. Its a platform for guidance, mentorship, growth, and togetherness, each upholding each other for their Service to Christ.
